Axiom Receives ConnectME Grant

Hello Everyone,

Axiom, in collaboration with Washington County-One Community, is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a ConnectME Grant for the Mitton Zone Project for $79,947.00. This is the area where we presently have wireless broadband coverage and have built 30 Access Points in the past two years. This funding will allow us to expand service in the Towns of Addison, Beals, Centerville, Cherryfield, Columbia, Columbia Falls, East Machias, Jonesboro, Jonesport, Machias, Machiasport, Marshfield, Roque Bluffs, Whitneyville, Calais, Eastport, Milbridge and Pleasant Point Reservation.

We will continue to pursue funding for the Schoodic, Musquash and Cooper Zone Projects, which would bring broadband coverage to all 48 Towns in Washington County. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your continued support and assistance. Axiom is proud to be recognized as a leader in our community, and will continue to work diligently to bring high-speed broadband coverage to every home and business.
